Join UTRI for our sixth annual “NAVIDAD A REYNOSA” (“Christmas to Reynosa”), December 27-30, 2012! We want to celebrate the birth of Jesus Christ by sharing with our Mexican brothers and sisters the Good News of our Savior. To do this, we will host a huge Christmas party complete with fair games, giveaways, singing, dramas, preaching, prayer and food. In order for this event to be a success we need your help!
NAVIDAD A REYNOSA will be held in a large field in the midst of people who are struggling daily for survival – physically, financially, but most importantly spiritually. We need 60-100 workers to join us in bringing hope to these people.
As you arrive on the 27th we will put you to work making preparations for the event. We will be traveling to Reynosa on the 28th to clean the field, invite door-to-door, and make final preparations. On the 29th, the day of the event, we will rise early to set up the field for the fiesta. At the end of the fiesta, we will serve hot dogs and charro beans to everyone in attendance. Also each child will receive a Christmas Bag, which will be placed around his/her neck while his/her hands are full with a hot dog and charro beans. Making these bags is a wonderful project in which your church, civic or youth organization can participate. For more information, click here to see what goes into the bags. We anticipate the attendance of thousands of people, so please ask the Lord how you can take part in this.

The cost for NAVIDAD A REYNOSA is $175.00 per person. This will cover transportation, meals, McAllen airport pickup/departure and three nights of lodging.
