Día de Esperanza (Day of Hope)
We are inviting people from all over to join us for our third annual “Day of Hope” as we give Hope to the Body of Christ here in Alamo, Texas and Reynosa, Mexico. The event will be held on July 6-9, 2012. Everyone will arrive for registration between 10am and noon on the 6th with lunch provided and then depart on the 9th by 10am. Friday will be a day of preparation for the event. On Saturday, we will hold the event in various churches. There will be fair games, giveaways, preaching, testimonies, singing, dramas and a meal for all the people in attendance. Then on Sunday, we will spend time worshiping together as the Body of Christ in the various churches.
This event is open to anyone that wants to encourage the Body of Christ. All ages and talents are welcome.
The cost is $175 per person. This price includes your lodging, meals*, transportation (once you arrive in Alamo) and bridge fees. You can drive to Alamo or fly into McAllen, TX and we will pick you up.
*If time permits on Sunday, we will go to Progreso, Mexico to shop and eat at an Authentic Mexican Restaurant. The cost of that meal will be your responsibility.
