Clay and Angie Anderson are the founders and directors of UTRI. They founded the ministry in December 2001 after receiving missionary and pastoral training under Oscar Brooks and WOTC ministries.
Clay and Angie were high school sweethearts and worked together in youth ministry before they were married. In 1994, Clay joined the Air Force and served at NORAD in Colorado Springs. They were married after his training and started working as youth ministers in a mission church in Colorado. Later Clay took over a youth pastor position at Evergreen Church in Springfield, MO. Two years later, they joined WOTC and trained while working on the mission field in Mexico. Then in 2001, UTRI was birthed.
This year UTRI will celebrate her 10 year anniversary. “Looking back over the years, it’s been exciting to see how God has worked through this ministry. We have seen so many team members and interns pass through these doors, all leaving with changed lives. We look forward to what God has in store for us in the years to come. Our passion is to see people truly live in relationship with Christ and each other, to know the goodness of the Lord in good times and bad, and to live free of the bondage this world tries to inflict upon us.” says Angie.
